I threw this together and was really wowed with the results. I will make my swiss steak from the crock pot from now on! We just loved it. You could cut back to maybe half of the tomatoes, but we loved the sauce so much, I won't be doing that. Serve your sauce over egg noodles or rice for your meal, easy side dish! It is delicious! I put this in the crock pot for about 4 hours on high and it turned out great. I made mashed potatoes to go with it but next time I think I'll make noodles or rice so the gravy can be soaked up more. My husband said when his mom used to make swiss steak she'd put cheese on it so I'll probably try that next time. Definitely a keeper!
